Colombia and Costa Rica have hired Technical Assistants to assist the National Coordinator in carrying out the activities of the project in the respective countries.

• assist the National Coordinator with the coordination of meetings and preparation of meeting documents,
• coordinate the work carried out be consultants and implementing agencies,
• draft reports,
• support the planning and implementation of project activities (demo projects, coastal monitoring, information management and dissemination),
• provide updates on pesticides used,
• represent the project at meetings, and
• support the Project Coordinator for the regions in regional aspects of the project.
