The Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Information and Training Center for the Wider Caribbean (REMPEITC-Caribe) is a Regional Activity Center (RAC) for the Protocol Concerning the Cooperation in Combating Oil Spills in the Wider Caribbean Region (Oil Spills Protocol).

This website is designed to improve the oil spill response communication between the governments of the various countries of the Wider Caribbean Region and to provide information on oil spill pollution prevention and response for the Wider Caribbean Region.

You will find general information on our activities, our objectives and our upcoming events.

Oil spill response technical documents are downloadable and a country profile database is available to view to increase the cooperation within the Caribbean and Central American nations, other regional states, and centers.
