CEP Rules of Procedure Workgroup

Open Intersessional Working Group on the Rules of Procedure and Financial Rules of the Caribbean Environment Programme (CEP)

At the 11th Intergovernmental Meeting (IGM) of the CEP in September 2004, Decision III of the meeting brought to bear on the need to concretize efforts to address the adoption of the Rules of Procedure for the CEP, Financial Rules for the Cartagena Convention and Terms of Reference for the Caribbean Trust Fund.

 

To this end, the CEP Secretariat is pleased to communicate, the composition of the Open Intersessional Working Group on the Rules of Procedure and Financial Rules of the CEP. The group will be chaired by the United States of America. The recommendations of the working group will be presented to the 12th IGM/9th Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Cartagena Convention in November 2006.

An electronic forum has also been created to facilitate further discussion and the exchange of ideas among the members of the workgroup. To participate in this forum, please visit http://cepropwg.ww2bw.org. Please note that this forum is open only to the member of the working group.
