Communication is key to overcoming cultural norms and perception about wastewater re-use

The 8th edition of World Water Forum | March 18-23, 2018

During March 18-23, 2018, the 8th edition of World Water Forum will be held in Brasilia, Brazil which is one of the largest water-related events being organized by the World Water Forum. This forum will involve over 200 sessions and debates about themes related to water therefore, contributed to the dialogue of the decision-making process on water at the global level, seeking to achieve the rational and sustainable use of this resource.

Mr. Christopher Corbin, Programme Manager of the Pollution and Communication Sub-programmes will serve as panelist on two sessions entitled Water and Caribbean Small Island Developing States: The Cost of No Action in Climate Change organized by CWWA, CDB and IDB and one on  Risk Communication related to quality of water for human comsumption: seeking population empowerment and the minimization of health risk organized by the Government of Brazil. Mr. Corbin will also provide support to the panel focused on Policy Solutions to Manage Water Quality from Ridge to Reef.
